Elgin, IL – November 18, 2014: Fabric Images, Inc.® proudly recognizes Materials Resource Liaison, Valerie Cuchna, for her recent industry accomplishments. Cuchna, a longtime employee of Fabric Images, has received her Master Fabric Craftsmen (MFC) certification. This certification signifies her superior knowledge of the principles and practices of fabric graphics, design, fabrication, and installation in the specialty fabrics industry.
As a member of a select group of certified professionals, Cuchna gains experience through continued professional development, contributes to the advancement of specialty fabric products and endorses the Code of Ethics of IFAI (Industrial Fabric Association, Inc.), reflecting ethical business leadership and management practices. Cuchna is the fourth person within Fabric Images to receive this certification.
Along with her recent certification, Cuchna was also elected to continue as Vice Chair of the Fabric Graphics Association (FGA) during the October annual meeting. The Fabric Graphics Association (FGA) promotes the use of graphic applications to specialty textiles by providing innovative solutions to many new project designs. The membership of FGA, which includes 120 companies, is diverse: From fabric and equipment suppliers, ink providers, color management companies, to graphic houses and end product fabricators who print and finish products.
